This is just an SD recording stretched to HD. I don't really know how this era's HD feed looked, but I don't think it was just stretched.

This was one of Toonami20’s recordings, which all of his recordings are stretched.

Oh, so it isn't. Still, stretching 4:3 to 16:9 just makes it look worse, so I usually pass on stretched recordings.
